Virus should slow down in warmer weather

I have tried to segregate countries into cold, where the temperatures average about 60 degrees Fahrenheit or less, and warm. It's true that many countries have areas of both. In China the inland area where most of the virus activity is, the temperatures are cooler than in the southeast. Italy has most of its virus activity in the north where it's colder. I excluded China from the table below because it overwhelms all the other countries.

It is pretty clear that the virus is expanding much more rapidly in colder countries. It also should be noted that a fair amount of the infections in warm countries are souvenirs from inhabitants' travels to cold countries.
